Why we designed the Simply Scented Melter 3.0
Let me start by saying that I, like many of you also started my journey making wax melts over the kitchen hob - I feel your pain!
It became obvious pretty quickly that i was spending WAY too much time watching small amounts of wax melt and not enough time doing all the other jobs that running a small business requires.
We tried other wax melters and well they were either incredibly expensive or they didnt work very well.
Here's what we learnt.
Wax melters with a wattage of 800 or above melt the wax too fast and can cause them to burn.
So we made ours 400w
Melters that have a bottom mounted element can burn the wax especially if it has set and has to be re-melted.
So we put our heating ring in the middle.
And finally we wanted to make sure that the temperature remained as stable as possible. So we added a secondary measure to keep everything on track!
